About the role
This role welcomes new ideas and is looking for someone who can steadily help with process improvement. You will be overseeing and participating in:

• Daily accounting tasks; including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and payroll. 
• End of month procedures including ATO, BAS, Workcover, Superannuation, salespersons commissions
• Remittances to local and overseas suppliers
• Quarterly preparation and analysis of accurate financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements)
• Budgeting and Forecasting
• Identifying and mitigating financial risks, and implementing internal controls to safeguard company assets. 
• Providing financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making by senior management. 

Skills and Qualifications:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders 
Ability to communicate financial information clearly and effectively to both financial and non financial audiences. 
Ability to problem solve and have a proactive mindset 
Proficiency in financial software and systems: ATTACHE as well as MS Office Suite
Strong knowledge of financial regulations and compliance
Leadership and team management skills Up to date relevant financial regulations knowledge 

Relevant qualifications:
A degree in accounting, finance, and professional certifications CPA or CA
2-3 years in a similar role
